Independent Resources, Inc. (IRI) is a non-profit federally funded  “Center for Independent Living,” that provides quality services to people with disabilities by assisting them in achieving and maintaining independent lives.  IRI offers a unique perspective on leadership and human resource management, that is 51% of its workforce, leadership, and board members are persons with disabilities.   We offer a wide variety of services which includes:   Advocacy, Information/Referral, Peer Support,  Living Skills Training, and Transition Life Skills Workshops.           

Our Mission:

The mission of Independent Resources, Inc. is to be a resource center, to assist persons with disabilities in achieving and maintaining individual lifestyles.  IRI believes in personal empowerment, independence and community education.

Transition Program:

Person with a disability who desire an independent lifestyle are assisted in preparing themselves, finding an appropriate living situation and moving into the community.
