  3. How do I save a file as a PDF?

You must have Adobe Acrobat Distiller installed on your computer.

To create a written document in the PDF format, follow these steps:

    Step 1:
Open the written document that you want to convert to Adobe PDF in its authoring application (such as Microsoft Word).

    Step 2:
    Select (File /"Print").

    Step 3:
Select Acrobat Distiller from the list of printers.

    >Step 4:
    Select OK.

By default, Distiller appends the extension .pdf. Distiller will ask you for a location in which to save your newly created pdf.

Note: Printer selection differs widely between different computer operating systems. To find additional information on setting the Acrobat Distiller within the Acrobat application, select (Help/"Acrobat Help").
