Troops to Teachers is a federal program that provides assist to military personnel who wish to puruse a second career in K-12 public school teaching.  Troops to Teachers is available nationwide and provides the service member with counseling and guidance regarding education, teacher certification and employment readiness as a teacher.  A financial stipend or bonus may also be available to assist with costs.
