Kevin and Tina Conley founded Warriors Helping Warriors after he retuned home from Afghanistan in 2010 with multiple injuries physical , mental, and emotional injuries requiring 9 surgeries, hundreds of appointments, and two years of physical recovery.  He was medically retired in 2014 after 23 years of service in the Army.

As he and his family made his 3 year journey through the ardjous  VA and military systems, he and his wife woundered how other veterans returning home coped without the support system he benifited from.  This is when he and his wife decided they will be the support system to help Veterans reintergrate back into society.

They formed Warriors Helping Warrios an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorperated in Delaware in 2014.  The organization provides home repairs, peer support, counseling, employment, and events/classes to help veterans reientegrate when they return home.

The organizatiion is in the process of opening a Veterans' Resiliency Center in Middletowm in order to expand their services and to house veterans in need.
