Veterans United Outreach began with a card table at Dover Days in 2001 as a committee of Vietnam Veterans of America, Kent County Chapter 850. Our purpose was to network federal and state agencies along with local veterans’ organizations to support our Kent County Brothers. We have expanded since to cover the entire state of Delaware. Since our start the main goal has never changed:
“To Help ALL Veterans”.
The outreach is a veterans’ organization with its foundation in God; Country; and Freedom, which we credit to the sacrifices of our military, veterans, and their families.
The purpose of this program is to reach out to our military brothers and sisters on educational, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels so as to guide them to freedom and comfort in their own lives. We work and coordinate with all who are willing to help accomplish our goal:
Today Veterans United Outreach of Delaware, Inc. is an independent IRS designated 501(c)(3) tax deductible charity. Our focus and purpose has not changed.
Our Mobile Education Unit travels the state to community and veteran events, bringing information and assistance to vets and families in their own back yards.
