The New Castle County Police Department's Veterans Response Team is made up of Police Officers that are Veterans themselves. These Officers have attened the State of Delaware's Crisis Intervention Training, hosted by NAMI and then followed up with 2 more days of specialized training dealing with Veterans in Crisis. The goal of the VRT program is to assist Vetarns before, during and after there Crisis.
