Sojourners' Place is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization operating in northern New Castle County Delaware since 1991 for the purpose of providing housing and suportive services to single men and women who have experienced hardships due to substance abuse, mental illness and/or incarceration.  Sojourners' Place provides safe, clean housing and nutritious meals, and a wide array of services to help individuals regain their dignity, self-worth, and reenter mainstream society as proud and productive members of the community. Since 1991, Sojourners' Place has assisted over 1800 men and women, provide housing anad services to homeless Veterans through a partnership with the Veterans Administration, and reentry services through a collaboration with the Criminal Justice Council.  All services are offered without cost.  Sojourners' Place was named as the 1,000 Points of Light and honored by several distinguished organizations but is merely the vehicle that supports men and women on thier journey to self-sufficiency.
