ITWorks offers a free, immersive IT training program to vulnerable young adults. Students receive a professional certification in IT and a real-world internship inside leading corporations and nonprofits. Graduates gain a marketable skill set, improved confidence, leadership abilities, and a broad understanding of the nonprofit community and its interactions. By strengthening young people and strengthening nonprofits, ITWorks is creating strong communities.

The ITWorks team, and volunteers, work tirelessly to ensure that every ITWorks student receives the opportunity to change their lives for the better (should they want that opportunity). We are constantly tweaking the program to ensure that each student succeeds.

• The ITWorks program retains 95% of all students that enter and accepts less than 20% of all applicants.
• 100% of ITWorks graduates are placed in internships.
• 100% of ITWorks graduates receive the Cisco IT Essentials Professional Certification
• Approximately 90% of graduates receive the CompTIA A+ Professional Certification
• Each student is given corporate-class career guidance, interview training, and connections to dozens of possible employers.
• 75% of graduates move into full time employment in the IT sector within 7 months of graduation.
• 25% of the ITWorks students are retained by their internship sites for full-time employment.

ITWorks has also been recognized by ComputerWorld Magazine as a 2011 ComputerWorld Honors Laureate Winner
